Job Title: Help Desk Associate

Work Location: Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL

Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret level clearance

Schedule: M ust be able to work 8 hour shift between 6am and 6pm

Salary: Entry level hourly rate

Overview: We are looking for individuals as Tier I support providing technical support under general supervision to end users for PC, server, mainframe applications and hardware support. Position will work with network services, software systems, and/or application development to restore service, and/or identify and correct core problems and recommend system modifications to reduce user issues.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; experienced in analyzing and solving customer problems; pay attention to detail; are able to function in a fast-paced environment; and welcome the opportunity to learn new skills.

Specific Duties:

+ Respond to requests for technical assistance

+ Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues

+ Research questions using available information resources

+ Log all help desk interactions

+ Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention

+ Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions

+ Stay current with system information, changes, and updates

Qualifications:

+ General knowledge of applications and hardware

+ Customer service

+ Troubleshooting

+ Bachelor's degree with 5 years of general experience OR associate degree with 7 years of general experience

+ Must be able to work all hours and available for rotating weekend shifts.
