    **Location:** This position will be based out of **UPMC Williamsport** . This position will have the potential to work from home 1 to 2 days per week. This position will require occasional travel (3%-5% of the time) to UPMC Wellsboro and UPMC Cole.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + **Interpret Financial Data:** Analyze and interpret financial transactions and events to support decision-makers.

    + **Cost Analysis:** Review costs and perform cost-benefit analysis related to various projects and programs.

    + **Data Extraction:** Extract and define relevant financial information to determine past performance and project future probabilities.

    + **Statistical Analysis:** Perform moderately complex statistical, cost, and financial analysis using various financial systems.

    + **Report Development:** Create financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.

    + **Transaction Recording:** Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in line with generally accepted accounting principles.

    + **Cost Determination:** Collect and study data to determine the costs of business activities, recommending budget adjustments and cost improvement measures.

    + Bachelor's degree in finance or related business field required.

    + Minimum of one year of related work experience required.

    + OR High School Diploma/GED and three years of related work experience.

    + Microsoft Office spreadsheet application required.

    + PeopleSoft General Ledger proficiency preferred.
