As a Food Service Liaison, you'll play an important part in the patient experience by processing and maintaining diet orders, using customer-friendly phone skills to communicate with patients and nursing staff, and helping resolve food service concerns with empathy and efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    + Communicate patient concerns or issues to supervisor or clinical staff in a timely fashion.

    + Process all phone calls using appropriate telephone skills and follow up on issues in a timely manner to resolution.

    + Process all nutrition care orders according to established procedures in an accurate and timely fashion.

    + Troubleshoot interface issues with diet orders and resolve.

    + Report software and printer problems to appropriate IS individual or group in a timely fashion.

    + Prepare tray tickets for food assembly according to workflow procedures in the operation.

    + Assist patients with menu planning in accordance with diet order in a helpful, friendly manner.

    + Maintain record-keeping and prepare reports as assigned.

    Required:

    + Work permit required if under 18 years old.
