    Your Role:

    As a PRN Respiratory Therapist, you will:

    + Set up and operate devices such as mechanical ventilators, therapeutic gas administration apparatus, environmental control systems, and aerosol generators.

    + Ensure specified parameters of treatment such as volume, gas concentration, humidity, and temperature.

    + Administer medicinal gases and aerosol drugs to patients under the orders of a physician.

    + Monitor patients' physiological responses to therapy through vital signs.

    + Assist patients in performing breathing exercises.

    + Observe and adjust equipment to obtain optimum results from therapy.

    + Consult with physicians in the event of adverse reactions.

    + Maintain patients' charts with pertinent identification and therapy information.

    + Inspect and test respiratory therapy equipment to ensure it is functioning safely and efficiently.

    + Order repairs when needed.

    + Demonstrate respiratory care procedures to trainees and other healthcare personnel.

    Requirements:

    + Relevant qualifications and certifications.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Commitment to delivering exceptional service.

    Education/Experience:

    + One to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Completion of an approved school for respiratory therapy.

    Certificates and Licenses:

    + Active State Respiratory Care Practitioner License.

    Job Type:

    + PRN for both dayshift and nightshift
