Executive Director Of Marketing & Foundation
The Executive Director of Marketing and Foundation is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing, communication, and philanthropic strategies for SCRMC and Magee General Hospital. This role oversees PR/marketing initiatives and foundation activities align with the organization’s mission and strategy. Responsibilities include acquisition of new and returning annual donors, ensuring fundraising success for the entire organization.
Key Responsibilities:
+ PR/Marketing Strategy & Execution –
+ Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to promote SCRMC and partner hospitals’ services, brand, and mission across all channels.
+ Support business growth through enhanced patient volume and drive market expansion.
+ Ensure the brand image is consistent across all traditional and digital platforms.
+ Direct traditional and digital media initiatives to increase brand visibility and engagement across all platforms.
+ Stay ahead of emerging digital trends and ensure SCRMC’s online presence is dynamic, user-friendly, and effective in attracting patients and donors.
+ Foundation & Philanthropy –
+ Lead the SC Healthcare Foundation in fundraising, donor relations and community outreach to support SCRMC’s healthcare services and mission.
+ Develop and execute strategic fundraising plans to drive charitable giving, major gifts and donor opportunities.
+ Build relationships with donors, community leaders, and corporate sponsors to expand the Foundation’s impact.
+ Lead short- and long-range planning activities to develop fundraising goals and objectives, and ensure successful outcomes.
+ Budget & Performance Management –
+ Manage the marketing and foundation budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while delivering high-quality outcomes.
+ Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of marketing, digital media, and foundation strategies.
+ Regularly assess the effectiveness of marketing and fundraising campaigns, making data-driven decisions to optimize future initiatives.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
+ 10+ years of experience in fundraising, communications or foundation management, with leadership experience in the healthcare sector strongly preferred.
+ Proven success in fundraising required.
+ Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
+ Excellent communication, public relations and presentation skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to build relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community leaders.
