Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) at Moore Regional Hospital, located in Pinehurst, NC. This 402 bed acute care community hospital is the flagship hospital for FirstHealth of the Carolinas system. Pinehurst is located 70 miles southwest of Raleigh, and 74 miles south-southeast of Greensboro.

What You'll Do

+ Complete malnutrition assessments, screens, and follow-ups to patients at low to moderate nutritional risk

+ Provide diet education to a variety of inpatients

+ Work every 8 th weekend

+ Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement: Associate’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice in a Dietetic Technician Program as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) or Bachelor’s degree with completion of required coursework in a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) as dictated by ACEND

Minimum Management Experience: Basic experience of coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months)

Minimum Functional Experience: Limited work-based experience (0 to 3 months); ability to work with minimal supervision

Credentials Requirement:

+ Nutrition & Dietetics Technician, Registered (DTR/NDTR) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

+ Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
