    **UW Medical Center-Montlake** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Health Services Manager to lead our Urology Clinic** .

    WORK SCHEDULE

    + 100% FTE

    + Day shifts Monday-Friday **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** The **Urology Clinic at UW Medical Center-Montlake** diagnoses and treats patients with urologic cancer and general urology conditions. The clinic is multifaceted and offers specialized services in prostate oncology, urogynecology, general urology, and specialized urology. Our clinic has approximately 19,000 annual visits and has been recognized as a UW Medicine Patient Experience Top Performer for Medical Practice. **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

    + Directs and oversees day-to-day and strategic clinic operations

    + Manages an estimated 30 employees (clinical and non-clinical)

    + Works in partnership with our providers and Medical Directors

    + Provides daily staffing coverage and assignments for the clinics and the patient care roles

    + Reviews and manages patient access in the forms of phone service, referral management, and appointment scheduling

    + Develops and assesses employee skills, monitors and manages employee performance, and completes timekeeping responsibilities

    + Acts as an expert resource when staff encounter problems or questions

    + Takes corrective action when employee performance is not acceptable

    + Plans and implements programs to meet targeted patient volumes

    + Oversees quality assurance and safety standards

    + Works to continually improve the quality of our services, in alignment with UW Medicine pillar goals

    + Ensures that the clinic operates in a cost-effective manner **REQUIREMENTS**

    + 4 years of work experience in a healthcare setting, including healthcare management experience

    + Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Nursing, Health Administration, or a related field; or equivalent education/experience

    + Knowledge of the Department of Health, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory healthcare groups
