    Job Description Summary

    Job Description: our team, focusing on our New Product Introduction (NPI). The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and components required for new product development and introduction. This role is critical in ensuring that our NPI projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Engage with cross functional technology experts to understand NPI requirements and specifications and to formulate sourcing strategy.

    + Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery standards.

    + Develop and implement sourcing strategies tailored to NPI projects.

    + Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.

    + Understand macroeconomic, geopolitical and financial trends and factor them in during negotiations and strategy development.

    + Manage supplier relationships and performance, addressing any issues that may arise.

    + Translate business requirements and metrics into supplier deliverables.

    + Analyze supplier performance, metrics and trends and effectively communicate to appropriate stakeholders

    + Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.

    + Continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

    + Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience

    + Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Procurement

    + Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

    Eligibility Requirement:

    + Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.

    + Strong understanding of NPI processes and requirements.

    + Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    + Proven ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    + Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Commitment to safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
