    The Human Resources Systems Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in our systems. Responsibilities include collecting and entering data into various systems and maintaining accurate records of employee information. This position focuses on data processing and reporting, administrative tasks; as well as employee onboarding and training.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Reports to work as scheduled on a regular and reliable basis.

    + Arranges meetings and schedules appointments for the department as needed.

    + Process employment and experience verifications.

    + Responds to requests promptly for information from district employees daily as needed (email, phone, US mail and district mail).

    + Assists in preparation and creation of District, State and Federal reports as needed.

    + Properly handles and maintains confidential electronic and paper employee records.

    + Process badge requests as needed and update necessary systems accordingly.

    + Coordinate with the HR Team on all employee changes, including new hires, transfers, and inactivations.

    + Initiate processes necessary to facilitate employee status updates including onboarding and training materials by utilizing HR systems and interdepartmental communication.

    + Maintain HR Systems as needed for employee status changes including new hires, transfers, and inactivations, as well as necessary systems setting updates.

    + Coordinate with the Payroll Department to update all employee pay information for bi-monthly and monthly payroll processing.

    + Provide ongoing system support and training for all district staff in various HR systems and programs.

    + Coordinate with the Technology Department on all employee status updates including system updates, access support, and district property delivery and recovery.

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

    + REQUIRED: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

    + PREFERRED: Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computers, Information Systems, or related area of study.

    + PREFERRED: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel functionality, such as pivot tables, formulas, etc.

    + PREFERRED: Advanced knowledge of Google software products.
