    Stevenson Consulting, a full-services engineering consulting firm, operating in the Mid-Atlantic and Gulf region of the US since 1984, is seeking Construction Field Technicians to join our Columbia, MD team.

    Responsibilities:

    + Observing, testing and sampling soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry and asphalt according to applicable standards

    + Preparing detailed and complete field reports with all relevant test results and inspections/observations provided

    + Daily interaction with clients and team members

    Requirements:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, safety rules and procedure manuals

    + Must have valid driver’s license, with good driving history

    + Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

    + Ability to multi-task and excellent attention to detail

    + Good written and oral communication skills

    + Prior experience on construction sight desired

    + WACEL and/or MARTCP certifications a plus

     

    Job Type: Full-time, in-person

     

    Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
