Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and proactive Change Management and Strategic Communications Manager to lead procurement-related change initiatives and communications. This role will focus on driving engagement, mitigating communication risks, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders through structured methodologies, multi-channel messaging, and organizational readiness assessments. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, results-driven communicator with strong project management capabilities, a keen sense of urgency, and familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies to enhance iterative workflows and continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Change Management:
+ Drive and execute change management strategies via structured methodologies, leading initiatives across multiple functions.
+ Develop and implement change management strategies that align with project objectives and business goals.
+ Assess the impact, readiness, and resistance of organizational changes, developing mitigation actions as needed.
+ Communicate and engage with senior leaders, sponsors, and project teams to ensure awareness, understanding, and buy-in for change initiatives.
+ Collaborate in the design, deliver, and evaluate training and coaching programs to support employees in adopting new processes.
+ Monitor and measure the effectiveness of change management activities, reporting progress and challenges.
+ Identify and manage risks and issues related to the change process, escalating concerns as needed.
+ Review and improve change management tools, processes, and best practices while maintaining up-to-date documentation.
Strategic Communications:
+ Evaluate, manage, and mitigate communication risks, developing response plans for sensitive topics.
+ Develop and execute communication plans to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout change initiatives.
+ Serve as the primary procurement communications representative, collaborating with senior leadership, internal customers, and external stakeholders.
+ Create high-quality communications for senior leaders and suppliers, including bulletins, emails, newsletters, and executive summaries
+ Manage internal procurement communication channels (Teams, Canva, SharePoint, email) to ensure consistent messaging.
+ Measure and analyze communication effectiveness, using qualitative and quantitative insights to refine strategies.
+ Seek out and propose new tools, processes, and policies to enhance internal communications.
+ Ensure alignment of project communications with broader functional strategies and frameworks.
Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field OR
+ 5+ years of experience in strategic communications, change management, and/or project management.
+ Proven ability to develop and execute multi-channel messaging strategies.
+ Strong project management skills, capable of managing complex initiatives with shifting deadlines.
+ Self-motivated communicator with the ability to prioritize workloads in fast-paced environments.
+ Exceptional collaborator with high attention to detail and accuracy in all communications deliverables.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, crafting compelling messaging tailored for various audiences.
+ Experience with Canva, Teams, SharePoint, and corporate email platforms.
+ Strong analytical skills to assess communication effectiveness and drive actionable improvements.
+ Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies to enhance iterative workflows and cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in procurement communications or corporate change management.
+ Ability to develop and deliver high-impact presentations and reports for senior leaders.
+ Proven ability to manage sensitive communications and mitigate risks effectively.
+ Attention to Detail.
