    Description

    TRAX USA Corp is a leading aviation software company seeking a highly motivated Product Owner. This position requires a firm understanding of eMRO software to effectively oversee the development, implementation and management of our product. The Product Owner is responsible for leading and motivating our team of Software Developers, Java Developers and Product Specialists, prioritizing & delegating operational/project assignments, and providing a high level of supervision & contribution to the strategies and methodologies that best support Trax and its customers.

     

    The Product Owner will frequently communicate and work alongside our Project Management team, QA, Technical Writing & all of our Programming Departments. A high level of technical aptitude is required to consistently reanalyze and improve eMobility strategies and processes.

     

    Key Management Responsibilities

     

    + Responsible for defining and continuously improving standards & methodologies for eMobility product performance within the organization. Training and Coaching Software Developers, Java Developers and Product Specialists on these standards & methodologies, conducting performance management and performance review process for each project and direct report.

    + Share responsibility with the PMO Manager for the implementation of eMobility at our customer site, offering both virtual and onsite support as needed

    + Builds and maintains relationships, with customers and their technical teams by routine conference calls or on-site meetings, as needed. Meets regularly with these individuals to obtain feedback, provide recommendations/direction, seek consensus/input, communicate adjustments/changes, and ensure continued alignment with business and organizational needs.

    + Alerts PMO when a new implementation is occurring and participates in the initial as we all as weekly calls with the customer. May at times manage weekly customer calls independently.

    + Oversees inter-department testing on the eMobility environment before collaborating with the QA department to run advance testing and repairs

    + Frequently correspond with customers post go-live, acting as additional support and tackling escalated matters. On call 24/7 to manage or delegate solutions regarding emergency eMobility software issues (such as SLAs).

    + Assigns tasks through our weblog system to entire department based on employee knowledge and workload.

    + Meets with department leads to review and approve responses from the department to customers

    + Creates an environment that encourages information sharing, team-based resolutions, cross-training, and process improvement within the area and across organizational boundaries

    + Provides initial training for project coordinators and visits customer with coordinator for initial support

    + Provides support to project coordinators that are implementing initial or upgraded versions of eMobility at the customer site. Conducts online training, troubleshooting, and additional support through conference calls and emails.

     

    Team Leadership

     

    + Sets challenging goals for the eMobility team and clearly communicates with them.

    + Direct, oversee, develop, coach, and mentor personnel in the department.

    + Provides leadership direction to programmers, product specialists and project coordinators both in-office and during a project

    + Manages strategic internal projects, executes accordingly with best programming methodologies and standards.

    Requirements

    Qualifications and Job Requirements

     

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 5 years of experience in Trax & eMobility product application and support, OR an equivalent combination of education, experience, knowledge and skills for 7 years.

    + Must have excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

    + Skilled at establishing and managing cross functional relationships

    + Ability to measure KPIs and define new ones as per business needs

    + Proven track record of evolving a product over time through experimentation, data analysis, user-testing, A/B testing, and user-research

    + Ability to create and/or analyze the return on investment (ROI) to maintain focus on activities that produce a return

    + Strong business acumen and ability to transform business problems into addressable solutions

    + Experience with application lifecycle management and web application technologies

    + Exceptional problem solving, issue resolution and customer service skills

    + Experience managing system integrations with familiarity in web services

    + Excellent written skills with track record of developing clear, concise documentation used to communicate with multiple audiences

    + Proven experience translating customer requirements into technical solutions, meeting both internal and external needs

    + Responsible for creating customer availability & performance metrics, analyzing trends and pro-actively taking steps to maintain and increase application performance for our customer base

    + Manage a team of people while coordinating with various departments to ensure eMobility is functioning properly and customers are satisfied.

    + Demonstrates a positive attitude, is self-motivated with an excellent work ethic, goal oriented and strong team player.

    + Able to work off hours when needed

    + Take on Additional Duties as assigned

    + Travel, domestically and internationally, may be required.
