We are constantly on a mission to add smart, innovative, and fun-loving team members, and are looking for a Freelance E-Comm Shoot Specialist to come join our New York-based headquarters.

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The Freelance E-Comm Shoot Specialist will act as the liaison between cross-functional teams and E-Comm shoot partners/outside vendors to manage the lifecycle of E-Comm imagery. They are responsible for managing all steps in the process of how E-Comm assets are created and delivered from scheduling shoots, retouching timelines, intake/organization of shot list, managing samples, on-set support, editing image selects, partnering with merchants on product imagery feedback, trafficking image retouching, and ensuring all deadlines are met for product go-lives.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Support the lifecycle of E-Comm product-display-page (PDP) imagery for tommyjohn.com and Wholesale account sites.

    + Co-manage relationship with the brand’s E-Comm Shoot Studio alongside Executive Producer.

    + Serve as on-set representative to support E-Comm shoots.

    + Update the brand's E-Comm style guide as required.

    + Build and adjust calendars for shot lists, sample turn-in, shoot date, and retouching deadlines for all PDP asset needs.

    + Partner with Sr Art Director and Executive Producer on the selection of crew and models for shoot productions.

    + Make imagery selects post-production that best showcase the product.

    + Build and organize the seasonal E-Comm shot list with merchants, buyers, and Wholesale teams.

    + Manage sample turn-ins with Merchandising team for both E-Comm and lifestyle photoshoots.

    + Organize and pack samples for shoots.

    + Act as a liaison between merchant on retouching notes.

    + Clearly communicate imagery update requests with retouching vendors.

    + Work with the Product team to ensure new products are accurately being represented.

    + Review retouching rounds to ensure all images meet proper standards.

    + Execute on resizing/re-crops to finalized imagery for Wholesale accounts’ PDP needs.

    + Manage the creation of seasonal swatches for PDP and bundle (pack) requests.

    + Communicate final asset delivery to cross-functional teams.

    + Upload and assign metadata to seasonal E-Comm and lifestyle imagery in the DAM (Digital Asset Management) tool.

    QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE

    + Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required

    + At least 2-3 years of professional experience in project management and/or at E-Comm photoshoot studio

    + Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills

    + Must be meticulous with details

    + Creative-minded with regards to the specialty

    + Ability to prioritize and multitask

    + Highly motivated team player with the ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships

    + Exceptional communication and writing skills

    + Proficient in Google Docs & Adobe Photoshop

    + Experience with DAM is a plus, but not required

    + Committed to at least 4 workdays per week; including 2-3 days based in our Downtown NYC office)

     

    Range: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
