• Software Engineer (Projects) Intern

    Description

    The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an internship opening for a Special Projects and Software Engineer to work in our Reston, VA office supporting our CHS-6 program starting in summer 2025.

    Primary Responsibilities

    + Assist the Catēna product team in performing the software engineering functions, including the design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs for enhancements and new software-intensive systems and products.

    + Applies appropriate principles, standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the software development life cycle.

    + Duties include software requirements analysis, development of software products and tools used for design, development and maintenance of infrastructure, and platforms.

    + Assist with other Business Area projects as assigned.

    Basic Qualifications

    + High school education or equivalent, and currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at the Junior/Senior level.

    + **US Citizenship is required.**

    •** **Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with AWS Cloud environments.

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
