Summary:

We’re looking for QA Engineering Leads to work on our GenAI products to help shape the future of what we build at Meta. You enjoy solving quality challenges on products built in cutting edge technology serving 2.9 billion people worldwide.

Required Skills:

QA Engineering Lead (AI) Responsibilities:

1. Work on building a quality driven engineering environment that helps ship products rapidly and with confidence.

2. Develop and implement robust evaluation processes for AI models.

3. Drive the quality for a product/feature, assess risks to and ensure shipping features with a high quality bar.

4. Plan, develop, and execute test strategy across core Meta products and platforms.

5. Lead quality assurance efforts that aligns with product objectives and develop scalable solutions.

6. Help solve cross-platform engineering challenges and contribute impactful ideas to improve quality.

7. Implement and evolve QA processes to get effective test signal and scale testing efforts across multiple products.

8. Define quality metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the product.

9. Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to leverage automation for scalable solutions to prevent regressions and ensure reliability of product.

Minimum Qualifications:

10. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta

11. 3+ years of quality assurance and test engineering experience.

12. 1+ years of experience in AI model testing/evaluations and setting model quality standards.

13. Experience in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ or equivalent coding language.

14. Experience in testing and debugging web or mobile applications.

15. Organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking experience.

16. Experience to change priorities quickly and adapt effectively in a fast moving product development cycle.

17. Hands-on experience with test planning, test designing and execution, performance and stress testing, implementing and maintaining quality test automation of both client and server systems.

18. Communicating with stakeholders, analytical and problem-solving experience.

19. Experience testing text/image models

20. Experience in managing black box and white box testing.

21. Experience working with medium to large engineering teams.

22. Demonstrated experience and resourcefulness to improve product coverage and effectiveness.

23. Experience working with AI Research teams, communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Public Compensation:

$106,000/year to $158,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
