    CACI is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cybersecurity Architect SME to join our team supporting U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award.

     

    The ideal candidate has expert level proficiency in providing expert guidance and strategic recommendations for the delineation and classification of Mission-Ready Terrain-Cyber (MRT-C), Key Terrain-Cyber (KT-C), and the multifaceted cyber domains encompassing Blue (friendly), Red (adversarial), and Gray (contested/neutral) spaces.

     

    Leveraging a comprehensive understanding of DoDD 3020.45 (Mission Assurance Construct), the individual will be required to apply sophisticated analytical methodologies to identify, prioritize, and manage risks to critical capabilities within the cyber landscape.

     

    This senior-level role is critical in enabling resilient Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber, and Information Management (C5IM) capabilities. The SME will lead the evaluation of systems against zero-trust principles, defense-in-depth strategies, and cutting-edge cybersecurity best practices. They will spearhead the assessment of DoD and NIST security control requirements implementation, conduct advanced threat modeling, and provide high-level technical and management leadership on major tasks and technology assignments. As the foremost expert in the domain, the SME will guide and mentor other professionals in the field.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead complex assessments of MRT-C and KT-C architecture for security and resiliency

    + Provide expert guidance on evaluating systems against zero-trust principles and defense-in-depth strategies

    + Oversee and validate the implementation of DoD and NIST security control requirements

    + Conduct advanced threat modeling to identify critical vulnerabilities and systemic gaps

    + Deliver authoritative technical and management leadership on major cybersecurity initiatives

    + Serve as the primary source of expert technical knowledge in the cybersecurity domain

    + Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of cybersecurity excellence

    Required Qualifications:

    + Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and 10+ years of relevant experience, including 3–5 years in cybersecurity architecture roles

    + Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and DoD 8140 certification at Advanced level (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CASP/SecurityX)

    + Recognized mastery of cybersecurity architecture principles with extensive practical experience; comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of zero-trust principles, defense-in-depth strategies, and advanced cybersecurity practices; and proven expertise in evaluating and implementing DoD and NIST security control requirements in complex environments

    Desired Qualifications:

    + Prior experience as Security Architect, Senior, extensive background in military cybersecurity operations at a strategic level;

    + Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing mission assurance strategies in high-stakes cyber environments; and possessesa track record of successfully leading and mentoring teams in complex cybersecurity projects

    + Master's degree (MA/MS) and DoD 8140 certification at Advanced level (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CASP/SecurityX)

    + Familiar with Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) tools such as ACAS/Tenable, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, such as Splunk and QRadar, Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADSS), and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT)

    The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $95,500-$210,100
