    The Opportunity:

    You will provide acquisition support services for the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) in College Park, MD.

     

    The services you provide will help NARA safeguard and preserve the records of the United States Government and ensure the public’s access to the essential evidence that documents the rights of American citizens, the actions of Federal officials, and the national experience.

     

    The on-site requirement for this position is five (5) days per week at a NARA facility in College Park, MD.

     

    **This is a temporary position, ending on July 31, 2025.**

    Responsibilities:

    As a Procurement Analyst you will:

    + Research and provide recommendations on acquisition policy.

    + Develop draft agency-wide acquisition policy, procedures, and guidance for inclusion in an agency supplement.

    + Research and draft acquisition guides and standard operating procedures.

    + Provide research, consultation, and technical support on special agency-wide acquisition related matters.

    + Draft internal procurement documents and memorandums.

    + Research, draft, and coordinate agency special clauses.

    + Draft process improvements and revisions.

    + Conduct and/or support acquisition management analysis and reviews.

    Qualifications:

    + Eight (8) years of experience in all facets of Federal Government contract administration and program support.

    + Bachelor's degree.

    + In-depth knowledge and expertise in Federal Government acquisition processes and procedures, and drafting acquisition policy.

    + Strong working understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).

    + Proven ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary functional acquisition teams.

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely

    The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $71,500 - $150,200
