What You'll Do

The Data & Analytics Product Manager is responsible for delivering valuable and viable solutions in partnership with the product team. They understand product strategy for their area and are responsible for building shared understanding with their team(s) of the highest-value opportunities and problems to solve. They demonstrate a strong understanding of how product disciplines collaborate to accomplish outcomes. The Data & Analytics Product Manager is accountable for products of low to medium scope, complexity, and sensitivity. They demonstrate curiosity, open-mindedness, and motivation to continue gaining exposure and experience in all phases of the product lifecycle.
+ Product Strategy:
+ Defines and manages product strategy for a low to medium complexity products.
+ Partners with Sr. PMs; AD, Dir., or Sr. Dir of Product Management to ensure product strategy aligns with product family, business, and enterprise strategies.
+ Ensures relationships and dependencies with other products and teams are clearly understood; and works to integrate strategy through shared objectives.
+ Integrates business, customer, user, and partner insights to inform a clear understanding of problems to solve and risks to manage.
+ Responsible for executing against the strategy as part of a product team(s)
+ Product Discovery:
+ Accountable for understanding and defining key business outcomes and requirements for their product.
+ Identifies opportunities/problems to solve.
+ Articulates hypotheses and leads the product team (design, engineering, and various business roles) in ideating and running experiments.
+ Assesses value of experiments, collaborates to draw out insights, and shares learnings with key partners and stakeholders. Based on learnings, determines which work should be prioritized into the product.
+ Responsible for bringing the data and insights to the table for product teams and stakeholders to understand and consume (in collaboration with design/experience experts)
+ Operates and improves an effective parallel discovery and delivery model which addresses the context of one or multiple products of low to medium scope, complexity, and sensitivity.
+ Product Delivery:
+ Is accountable for success of product delivery on products of low to medium scope, complexity, and sensitivity. Collaborating with technology and non-technology partners. In partnership with other members of a team, works to remove impediments that the team may face in the pursuit of value creation.
+ Collaborates with team to break down work in a manner which frequent release of valuable product changes.
+ Ensures the product team has the customer, user, and stakeholder context required to solve problems effectively and efficiently.
+ May play the role of product owner for SCRUM teams, collaborating on story creation and refinement, definition, acceptance criteria, prioritization, and acceptance of work as done.
+ Ensure team has effective and efficient agile ceremonies and agreements with interdependent teams.
+ Responsible for successful delivery of measurable, goal-aligned value and owns the product roadmap.
+ Communicates product releases to stakeholders & partners.
+ Product Assessment:
+ Ensures every goal-aligned unit of value created by the team(s) is measurable and shows progress towards objectives.
+ Monitors and communicates product health, impact of product releases, and progress against product goals.
+ Accountable for ensuring product team(s) utilizes data to gauge performance and inform strategic revision and discovery.
+ Responsible for making performance information accessible and visible to Sr. PMs, or AD, Dir, or Sr. Dir of Product Management and other key stakeholders.
+ Responsible and accountable for meeting product outcomes and, if necessary, making enhancements to go to market strategy, product, etc. to meet them.
+ Stakeholder Management and Communication:
+ Collaborates with business leaders and finance to manage budget, go to market strategy, etc.
+ Communicates key information (strategy, priorities, plans, experiments, results, etc.) regarding the product(s) with stakeholders.
+ Communicates effectively as part of the product management team supporting a broader product family or portfolio.
+ Works with stakeholders to understand and improve change
+ Product Leadership
+ Serves as a resource to Associate Product Managers as they develop product experience, knowledge, and skills.
+ Identifies opportunities to improve the product management practice within their sphere of responsibility; and takes action to continuously improve.
Who You Are
+ 4+ years of business, technology, or product management experience; or equivalent demonstrated through the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education
+ Demonstrated experience managing 1 or multiple products.
+ Demonstrated experience with strategic thinking, collaboration and decision making in a product environment.
+ Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple workloads and/or competing priorities.
+ Demonstrated experience with stakeholder and relationship management in a product environment.
+ Demonstrated experience leading, influencing, and negotiating in a product environment.
+ Demonstrated experience leveraging diverse perspectives and use of customer, user, or partner data and insights to inform decisions and actions.
+ 2+ years working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment with engineering teams and stakeholders
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$106400 - $144400 / year
Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environment
This role is located in our corporate headquarters in Des Moines, IA. This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), in our Des Moines office.
