Who You Are

Under limited direction, actively plans and develops programs for the growth, revitalization and utilization of land and/or existing physical structures for establishing quality of life standards for community residents. Collects and analyzes relevant economic, social, and physical factors to determine community needs and improvements.

This is a contingent position based upon contract award

What You’ll Do

As a Space Planner, you will:

+ Analyze space requirements and provide detailed space plans to optimize layouts.

+ Work closely with architectural and design teams to develop functional and efficient spaces.

+ Manage and coordinate moves, adds, and changes to office layouts.

+ Ensure all spaces meet health, safety, and organizational standards.

+ Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.

+ Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.

+ Other duties as required

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

+ 5+ years of experience in space planning, facilities management or interior design.

+ Strong understanding of design principles and space optimization.

+ Proficient in CAD and other design software.

+ High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.

+ Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.

+ Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.

+ Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.

Clearance: Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.
