The 1LMX MES COE Technical Foundations team is hiring a
Site Reliability Engineering \(SRE\) Manager to lead a high\-performing team of software and full stack engineers supporting a major enterprise software platform at the core of our Manufacturing and Quality operations\. This role plays a critical part in our 1LMX imitative, centering on modernizing our Manufacturing Execution Systems \(MES\)\.

As a technology and people leader, you will guide the design, development, provisioning, and resilient operations of scalable software solutions deployed in hybrid and cloud environments\. You will foster an engineering culture that prioritizes structured delivery, reliability and technical rigor, while driving accountability and performance through measurable outcomes\.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will work cross\-functionally with product owners, functional stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and other IT and business partners in 1LMX to deliver systems that are logically designed, robust and aligned with long\-term strategies for Manufacturing and Quality\.

Further Information About This Opportunity:
This role is fully remote\. US citizenship is required due to program access\.
Basic Qualifications:
• Software engineering domain experience, with experience in delivering cloud\-based applications and enterprise\-grade systems
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and modern SDLC methodologies
• Experience in technical project leadership
• Demonstrated leadership ability, especially a virtual team
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead cross\-functional collaboration
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and deliver work against defined timelines
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline
• US citizenship is required due to program access
Desired Skills:
• Experience in cloud\-native architecture using AWS, Azure, or hybrid models
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Familiarity with manufacturing, quality or industrial software systems
• Experience with observability, high availability, disaster recovery, and operational resilience at scale
• Ability to mentor, coach, and develop engineering talent within a fast\-paced organization
• Leadership Development Program graduate
• PMP Certification

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Full\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site\. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $147,700 \- $255,990\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\.

This position is incentive plan eligible\.
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 \- $226,435\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\.

\(Washington state applicants only\) Non\-represented full\-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off \(PTO\) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays\. Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\.
