    THE WORK

    Control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of receiving through customer delivery in order to meet customer requirements\. Collaborate with various departments and customers to ensure seamless flow of goods and services to ensure inventory control, service, and time objectives are achieved\. Builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives\. Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to improve procedures\. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and transportation providers, to ensure effective logistics operations\.

     

    Analyzes, tracks, and updates program’s inventory via Electronic Inventory Systems and Enterprise Logistics Management System \(formally DPAS\)\. Inventories and compiles annual and quarterly inventory data and submit inventory reports to the government\. Responsible for shipping and receiving products and goods to meet customer needs\. Orders parts and supplies as required\. Works with customers to determine when Government assets are in excess, obsolete, beyond economic repair, scrap, salvage, or no longer required and disposes of items through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment \(PIEE\) system\.

     

    Collect, analyze, and report on logistics data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement\. Identify inefficiencies in logistics processes and recommend solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency\. Monitor inventory levels, analyze demand forecasts, and develop strategies to optimize inventory management\. Provide analytical support for logistics projects, new business opportunities, and proposals\. Maintain and manage logistics databases, including information on shipments, inventory, and other relevant data\. Develop and implement logistics policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency\.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related field, or equivalent experience/combined education, with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree\. Considered a career or journey\-level position\.

    Proficient computer skills, including:

    • Microsoft Office experience

    • Operational knowledge of Electronic Inventory

    Systems

    • Tactical knowledge of PIEE

     

    Able to obtain SECRET Security Clearance

    Desired Skills:

    Advanced degree \(Bachelor's or higher\) in a related field

     

    Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and attention to detail skills

     

    Strong administrative skills

     

    Effective interpersonal and communication skills

    Logistics experience

    Certified Supply Chain Professional \(CSCP\) certification

    Experience with FIAR and DPAS systems

    **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

    **Clearance Level:** Secret

    **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

    **Schedule for this Position:** Non\- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
