Job Description

Oversee the daily operations and manage a group of approximately 10 individuals in the U.S. Bank Global Fund Services Transfer Agent Document Distribution Department. Ensure adherence to internal standards, client SLAs and compliance with SEC and IRS regulations. Respond to inquiries from SEC/IRS regulators as well as shareholder’s legal representatives. Perform full range of human resources responsibilities including EEO/AA, communications, coaching, and staff development. Monitor daily workflow providing professional and timely assistance to mutual fund clients, shareholders, auditors, and internal customers. This position requires the individual to analyze complex transactions requests, which are not included in documented procedures; in order to make risk-based assessments to determine if the requests received are adequate to fulfill the shareholder request. Participate in a culture of continuous improvement, risk-based thinking, and employee engagement driven by our ISO 9001 certification.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience

- Typically three to five years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

+ Strong managerial skills.

+ Minimum of 1 year as an Operations Manager 1.

+ Excellent oral/written communication skills, organizational & time management skills and problem-solving abilities.

+ Working knowledge of software programs and applications specific to Fund Services.

+ Excellent PC skills and working experience in Windows environment & Office Suite products.

+ Working knowledge of applicable SEC & IRS regulations as well as understanding of mutual fund investment company concepts.

+ Ability to work in a team environment with possible co-managing duties.

+ Ability to work flexible hours.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $66,640.00 - $78,400.00 - $86,240.00
