Job Description
**Product Implementation:** The individual will be focused on new commodity product implementation. Will support broader counterparty risk team in launching over a dozen commodities products. The launch and implementation will include integration of these products into counterparty risk models by configuring them appropriate and ensuring all the required tests are done. The individual will also support in developing technical implementation document as required by model regulation. More details as follows:
+ Extensive testing is done on valuations and model outputs for exposure.
+ Data will be evaluated for availability and solutions are pursued for data not readily available.
+ Coordination is done with Model Development and Validation teams, with extensive discussions on model selection and back testing results.
+ Code changes are done to automate reporting, both on receiving trade data, ensuring sufficient information is obtained, and on submitting data to RiskMetrics model, which requires formatting and testing of the inputs into their models.
**Daily Monitoring of Limits:** The monitoring of limits involves both daily reporting of executed trades and also the analysis of exposure before trading, as needed.
+ For pre-trade analysis, new trades are formatted for RiskMetrics and existing trades for the client are compiled, with the combined list of trades evaluated. This work is time sensitive.
**Monitoring of model performance and exposures:** In conjunction with quarterly monitoring by the model development team, the CCR team also analyzes model output and identifies issues that may arise outside of the quarterly monitoring scope.
