    Seeking a new professional opportunity in the downtown Charleston area? Manpower is excited to announce a new Financial Bookkeeping opportunity at a large firm and requesting immediate start. This position offers premium pay rates, exceptional benefits and inclusive team. Did I mention there are local ice cream eateries too?

     

    + **Job Title** : Financial Bookkeeper

    + **Location** : Charleston WV

    + **Shift** : FullTime 08:30AM-5:30PM

    + **Pay Range** : Up to $23/hr or $920/weekly pay (PreTax)

    + **Remote** : No

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

    + Process vendor invoices and manage payments in a timely manner.

    + Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability.

    + Prepare and maintain financial reports, summarizing current financial status.

    + Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasting.

    + Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

    + Collaborate with external auditors during reviews and audits.

    + Address and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly.

    + Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required.

    + Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.

    + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, FreshBooks) and Microsoft Excel.

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

    + Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    + Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

    + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
