Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Billing Analyst to join their team. As a Billing Analyst, you will be part of the finance department supporting large account billing management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Billing Analyst
**Location:** Columbus, OH
**Pay Range:** $26.25 per hour
What's the Job?
+ Verify accuracy of billing data and analyze individual accounts to make independent decisions regarding billing activities.
+ Serve as the primary contact for large account billing management through proactive communication with sales and customers.
+ Identify billing discrepancies and determine root causes of issues, taking necessary steps to resolve them.
+ Create manual invoices at a detailed customer level ensuring data integrity.
+ Communicate and maintain relationships with utilities to troubleshoot issues and verify data.
What's Needed?
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
+ A minimum of 3 years of billing, finance, or relevant business experience.
+ Advanced Excel and/or Microsoft Access skills to support data analysis.
+ Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
+ Ability to prioritize, plan proactively, and manage conflicting priorities effectively.
