    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a backend developer to join the analytics organization at a global health solutions company. This candidate will be joining a development team that is focused on optimization and creating decision based databases. The day to day will consist of 80% core development in Pyspark and Python and 20% of the time will be spent in team meetings and working with business stakeholders. The technologies within the teams space are: Palantir foundry, data bricks and tableau. This resource will be focused on backend development in pyspark. This is a fully remote 6 month contract with extensions.

    Compensation:

    $18/hr to $25/hr

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 7 years of backend development experience

     

    - Experience with pyspark and python for code transformation

     

    - Strong SQL coding experience

     

    - Experience working with a US based company - Palantir Foundry experience

     

    - Code optimization experience

     

    - Math or Statistics background or degree

    - JavaScript or TypeScript training courses null
