    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a systems analyst to support a large utility client locally in the Tampa area. The Systems Analyst develops complex software and integrates applications with intricate interfaces based on provided specifications. They create and review technical design specifications, work under limited supervision, and mentor junior staff. Responsibilities include collaborating with Business Systems Analysts and Business Partners to develop software specifications, implementing software packages requiring in-depth configuration and integration, and providing 24x7 support for critical applications. They support the SDLC phases by producing documentation and estimates, reviewing junior staff deliverables, and participating in development and support teams, potentially as a Technical Lead. The role also involves acquiring and maintaining relevant business and technical knowledge, mentoring junior staff, and driving standard practices within the team. The Senior Systems Analyst will focus on operational technologies (OT), overseeing systems administration, support, and implementation within the companys operational environments. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, they will identify and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical solutions. With a robust understanding of operational technologies, including control systems (SCADA), and meter operational systems, they will leverage this expertise to develop and implement effective solutions.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -5+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development.

     

    -Support and systems integration experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and/or meter measurement systems.

     

    -Proficient with programming languages and use of developer tools such as (PL/SQL Developer, SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio).

    -Bachelor's Degree Required -Experience in the utility industry null
