Job Description

We are seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to support the design, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of ArcGIS Field Maps applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Esri platform, especially in configuring web maps, mobile data collection tools, and integrating them with enterprise GIS databases. This role is essential in enabling field teams to efficiently collect, manage, and synchronize geospatial data.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and configure ArcGIS Field Maps applications tailored to field data collection workflows.

Create and maintain web maps, hosted feature layers, and mobile map packages in ArcGIS Online (AGOL) or ArcGIS Enterprise.

Collaborate with field teams to gather requirements, design intuitive field apps, and provide ongoing technical support.

Perform quality assurance on incoming field data and support synchronization and troubleshooting.

Develop smart forms and attribute rules to streamline mobile data entry.

Provide training and documentation for end users and field staff.

Support integration between Field Maps and Survey123, ArcGIS Dashboards, or other apps as needed.

Work with IT/GIS Admins to manage permissions, user access, and device configurations.

Assist with data analysis, reporting, and spatial data visualization for stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related field.

2+ years of experience with ArcGIS Online, Field Maps, and other Esri field data tools.

Experience with geodatabases, data collection workflows, and GPS data accuracy standards.

Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and web GIS architecture.

Strong understanding of mobile device use in field data collection (iOS/Android).

Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Skills:

Experience with ModelBuilder.

Knowledge of Survey123, QuickCapture, or Workforce for ArcGIS.

Experience working in utility, environmental, or public sector field operations.

Familiarity with GNSS devices and post-processing workflows. null
