As the Senior MRI Technologist, you will
perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as
post-processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding
of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and
medical terminology. Advanced imaging skills and techniques would be
demonstrated by competence in 3 or more of the following advanced imaging
applications:
+ MR Angiography (MRA) - cardiac and advanced cardiac/CVMR, peripheral vascular/PVMR, and or neurovascular - EPI applications: DWI, PWI, DTI , ASL
+ MR Spectroscopy (MRS) - Brain, or Breast, or Prostate
+ MR Enterography, MR Defecography and MR Prostate with endo-rectal coil
+ Interventional MR - MR Guided fine needle breast and or prostate biopsies
+ Functional MR (fMRI) - Brain
+ Therapeutic MR (HiFu) - Fibroid tumors
You will be expected to support all imaging
centers staffed by our organization.
*Should you not meet the experience
standards required for a senior position, you may be considered for a Staff MRI
Technologist position.*
Staff
Technologist: $49.73 - $65.56 per hour
Senior
Technologist: $52.18 - $68.16 per hour
Salary Range: $49.73 - $68.86 Hourly
Qualifications
Please
ensure your resume includes a list of all relevant certifications and licenses.
+ 3 years MRI Experience - required
+ Licenses
+ A combination of the ARRT and CRT - required. MR certificate required
OR
+ A combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) - required
+ Venipuncture certificate - required
+ BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
+ Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required
+ AA or BS - preferred
+ Siemens experience - preferred
+ Demonstrates competence in modifying protocols as required producing optimal diagnostic images.
+ Demonstrates ability to train additional MR staff in addition to performing the advanced procedures without direction themselves
+ You will be required to rotate to all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health
