    Responsibilities

    Mayo Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Applications Analyst for a one-year limited tenure position supporting the implementation of Oracle Cloud HCM Talent Management analytics. This role is essential to enabling Mayo Clinic’s strategic investment in Oracle data, reporting, and analytics solutions, specifically Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) as the primary self-service reporting tool. The selected candidate will work across key talent domains—Performance Management, Goals and Career Development, Talent Review, and Succession Planning—to deliver high-impact reporting and analytics solutions that inform workforce strategy and decision-making. Success in this role will require the ability to deliver data, reporting and analytics via OTBI, BI Publisher and FDI, and execute all the analytics project stages: Business Understanding, Data Understanding, Data Acquisition and Preparation, Visualization/Model Development, Testing, Validation, Deployment and Maintenance.

     

    + Build and maintain custom and out-of-the-box OTBI reports, BI publisher reports, and Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) reports and dashboards in accordance with best practices and the end-user focused reporting strategy.

    + Partner with business users to define functional and technical requirements (FDDs/TDDs) that accurately document required functionality. Build credibility and rapport with customers to understand their needs.

    + Translate complex data requirements into meaningful analytics to support HR and leadership decision-making.

    + Extend semantic models and augment subject areas to support data and reporting requirements.

    + Support recurring and ad hoc reporting needs from the project team to support testing and validation activities.

    + Validate data integrity of changes introduced and impact on end-to-end R&A solutions for end users.

    + Engage with project implementation partners to ensure effective documentation, status updates on progress, and knowledge transfer.

    + Provides or reviews content for updating FAQs, job aids, and training materials.

    This position is 100% remote; can work from anywhere from the U.S. This position is a limited tenure position with a projected end date of 1 year.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience is considered in administrative areas such as HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Healthcare, or Information Technology. In lieu of degree, H.S. Diploma and 8 years of relevant experience may be considered.

     

    Vendor application certification may be required. Previous healthcare experience and knowledge of administrative systems preferred. Knowledge and experience with project management, systems analysis and design, software testing, process management or engineering, systems documentation preparation, and data management and analysis preferred. Must be customer-service oriented, timely in responses to requests for service/information, able to manage multiple tasks, teams and/or priorities, and able to work independently.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Proficient in Oracle Cloud HCM reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher, FDI, OAC), with emphasis on Talent Management subject areas: Performance Management, Succession Management, Goals and Career Development, Talent Review, and Check-ins.

    + Strong understanding of Oracle Talent Management data structures and subject areas

    + Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud, Autonomous Data Warehouse, and Oracle Data Integrator.

    + Prior experience as a data scientist or analytics developer.

    + Experience with Eightfold is a plus.
