_As the Senior Project Coordinator, you will provide implementation services for programs and projects at DHS. Services include project management that incorporates Continuous Improvement principles, performance measurement development, tracking and analysis; project support for CI projects in order to establish and foster a CI culture and support CI efforts; and quality assurance and program integrity work for Telework at DHS program through the use of project management, change management, data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies._
_The incumbent also provides lead work for staff responsible for coordinating daily activities of the Program and Project Implementation Services (PPIS) team._
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
+ Using Continuous Improvement and Project Management methodologies, provide project management on small- to large-scale projects across the agency to develop strong, sustainable programs, processes, and policies.
+ Ensure that appropriate and accurate data, analysis, and reporting are available to support the Hybrid Workplace at DHS.
+ Provide lead work for Project and Program Coordinators.
+ Collaborate with the Office of Continuous Improvement on projects across the agency by supporting the development of improved work procedures as part of DHS’s long term Continuous Improvement efforts.
Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years of experience with project management and/or continuous improvement in a large organization. Experience must demonstrate the following:
+ Experience conducting data planning, collection, analysis, and/or reporting;
+ Evaluating, designing or redesigning business processes and/or procedures;
+ Public speaking experience and presentation skills to effectively present complicated information in a simple, understandable way (plain language) while emphasizing the value to the audience;
+ Communication skills sufficient to provide consulting and advice to staff while also effectively training staff at all levels.
_*A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Social Work or a related field may substitute for one year of experience.*_
Preferred Qualifications
+ Application of Lean and/or other continuous improvement or innovation methodologies and principles to improvement efforts within an organization;
+ Formal training or certification in project management tools or methodology;
+ Strong understanding of or experience in data analysis, interpretation, and synthesis to present accurate and useful information;
+ Experience with database management and systems analysis;
+ Project experience including using project management tools (e.g. Gantt charts, communication plans, task tracking and project plans, etc.);
+ Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
