GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
As a Technology Coordinator at Quad, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the technology infrastructure behind Quad's innovative in-store media campaigns. This position involves coordinating various technological aspects of digital signage, interactive displays, and other multimedia solutions within retail environments. In addition, this position involves logistics aspects including individual store configuration, kitting and shipping. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical know-how and retail media, ensuring that technology effectively supports engaging and impactful in-store experiences for customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technology Coordination: Manage the technical aspects of in-store media projects, including digital signage, interactive displays, and other multimedia systems.
Inventory Management: Itemize, count, and quality check all on-hand inventory. Provide reporting and fulfillment requirements in conjunction with Sr. Technology Manager
Kitting and Configuration: Configure, package, and quality-check all devices to-be-installed prior to shipment to individual locations for deployment.
Project Management: Assist in planning and executing technology deployments in retail settings, ensuring timely and efficient completion of projects.
Vendor Collaboration: Work with technology vendors and service providers to source, certify, and repair/maintain media equipment.
Technical Support: Provide remote technical support for in-store media systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Training and Documentation: Develop and provide training materials for store staff and internal teams on operating and troubleshooting media technologies. Maintain accurate documentation of technology setups and configurations.
Quality Assurance: Regularly inspect and test media technology installations to ensure optimal performance and adherence to Quad's standards.
Innovation and Research: Stay informed about new retail media technologies and trends, suggesting innovative solutions to enhance in-store customer experiences.
Budget Management: Assist in managing budgets related to technology procurement, maintenance, and shipping, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis
Education: Four-year College degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Media Technology, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a technology coordination role in a retail media or digital signage context preferred. 2-3 years’ experience in warehousing/fulfillment center in a technology driven context preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Network+, A+ preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Personal Computer proficiency in Business Applications. Strong technical skills in network management and digital media, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
