    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

    + Lead a dedicated emergency room team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence.

    + Oversee patient care standards, collaborating with medical staff to optimize care delivery and ensure best practices.

    + Will have 24/7 accountability for the emergency room.

    + Drive the efficiency of the ER department, implementing process improvements, managing resources, and enhancing workflow.

    + Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, maintain accreditation standards, and uphold safety protocols across the department.

    + Develop and manage the departmental budget, analyze financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality care.

    + Act as a liaison between hospital administration, medical staff, and other departments to ensure coordinated patient care and department objectives are met.

    Qualifications

    Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

     

    + Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.

    + BLS upon hire and maintain current.

    + A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.

    + Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred

    + PALS certification upon hire and maintain current.

    + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current.

    + Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.

    + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
