Job Summary and Qualifications

The Practice Coordinator is responsible for various administrative and operational functions to support the Division, serving as a resource to the hospital, providers, and patient community.

As the Practice Coordinator you will:

+ Create Rounding Lists

+ Answer Patient Calls

+ Send PCP Letters

+ Provide discharge data for site medical director & hospital reporting

+ Assist in getting death certificates processed

+ Calculate patient volume daily

+ Report charge & rounding list deficiencies to providers

+ Schedule new provider orientations

+ Format & distribute monthly schedule to hospital as needed

+ Schedule staff meetings, create agenda, take minutes

+ Send email communications to physician teams

+ Provide procedure list to hospital administrator.

+ Collate HCAP data and hospitalist tracking report

What you should have for this role:

+ Two+ years of medical office experience in related duties required

+ Proficient in Word, Excel, and monthly report preparation and presentations

+ Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients, and the public.
