    Job Summary:

    Angel Medical Center in Franklin, NC is seeking a Surgical Services Adavanced Practice Provider to join a busy and growing surgical practice.

    Qualified Candidates:

    + Completion of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program with appropriate certification exams

    + Has, and maintains, current license with the North Carolina Medical Board

    + BLS, ACLS certification required

    + **Gastroenterology APP experience preferred** ; and/or General Surgery clinical rotations

    Position Highlights:

    + Will be responsible for office procedures as they pertain to General Surgery surgical services

    + Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm

    + Must possess excellent clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills

    + Clinic responsibilities include seeing new and follow-up patients as well as triaging calls

    + 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with ICU and surgical suites

    + Angel Medical Center has been named an Acute Stroke Ready hospital by the Joint Commission and American Heart Association/American Stroke Association

    + Outpatient services include wound clinic, a full laboratory, digital mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, rehab therapy, as well as surgical and endoscopy services
