Start Date: To be determined upon hire.
Salary: Depends on experience (DOE); $90,000 to DOE

Primary Duties: The successful applicant will provide general counsel services to state agencies and elected officials on a variety of legal issues including statutory interpretation, contracts and procurement, employment issues, and public records requests. The role may also involve occasionally representing agencies in administrative hearings. The State General Counsel Division represents over 60 state agency clients, which provides interesting legal work and the ability to expand one’s legal skills.
Minimum Qualifications: Active Idaho State Bar license is required.
Preferred Qualifications: At least two years of experience drafting contracts is preferred.
