About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Commercial Real Estate Underwriter.
In this role, you will:
+ Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs across Commercial Real Estate Underwriting
+ Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-dept evaluation across Commercial Real Estate Underwriting
+ Deliver solutions that are long term, large scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking
+ Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale cross-functional
+ Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring exceptional understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
+ Strategically engage with all levers of professionals and managers across the enterprise
+ Serve as an expert advisor to leadership
Required Qualifications:
+ 7+ years of Commercial Real Estate Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ 7+ years of Agency Seniors Housing underwriting experience.
+ Experience of senior housing operations, housing industry, including its unique challenges and opportunities.
+ Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial statements, cash flow projections, other financial data, compliance reports, and all required third party reports.
+ Knowledge of lending regulations, guidelines, and industry standards.
+ Experience preparing a full analysis of the ownership, property, property operations and compliance to both internal credit officers and to Agency partners.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
Job Expectations:
+ Ability to travel up to 10%
+ Ability to work additional hours as needed

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
