Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to support the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division in our Defense System Sector. This position will be located at our Roy, UT facility. This role is targeting a highly skilled Senior Earned Value Management (EVM) Analyst to support division programs by using EVM principles to analyze, track, and report on project performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities
+ EVM Analysis and Reporting:
+ Collects, analyzes, and interprets data related to project costs, schedules, and performance.
+ Prepares and presents comprehensive EVM reports to stakeholders, including variance analysis and forecasts.
+ Identifies potential cost and schedule risks, issues, and recommends corrective actions.
+ Compliance and Best Practices:
+ Ensures compliance with industry standards (e.g., ANSI/EIA-748, EVMS) and company procedures.
+ Maintains the integrity of the EVMS and ensures its proper implementation.
+ Provides guidance and training to project teams on EVM principles and best practices.
+ Budget and Financial Planning:
+ Assists in the development and maintenance of programmatic budgets and financial plans.
+ Participates in financial auditing and assessment of completed projects.
+ Collaborates with program management, business management, scheduling, and technical teams.
+ Extensive experience in subcontractor compliance with EVM requirements which includes the integration of subcontract data into the prime contractor's EVMS and analyzes performance metrics to identify and address potential issues.
Basic Qualifications
+ Requires a Bachelor's degree with 12 years of related professional experience; a Master's degree with 10 years; a PhD with 8 years; or a High School diploma (or equivalent) with 16 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
+ Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
+ Requires 8 years of experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) or financial/program analysis
+ Requires experience with Deltek Cobra, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other EVM tools
+ Requires experience supporting DoD contracts and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
+ Requires experience with ANSI/EIA-748 EVMS guidelines and government reporting requirements
Preferred Qualifications
+ Active Secret Security Clearance
+ Advanced degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field
+ Aerospace/Defense industry Experience
+ Experienced with MS Excel Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
+ Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Salary Range: $122,100.00 - $183,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
