Description

We are looking for a dedicated Receptionist to join our team in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth operations by providing excellent front-desk support and assisting patients efficiently. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in medical, dental, or veterinary settings, though training is available for those eager to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check patients in and out, ensuring a welcoming and detail-oriented experience.

• Schedule and confirm appointments, including making reminder calls to patients.

• Prepare patient charts accurately and efficiently to support clinical staff.

• Handle co-pay transactions and assist with billing inquiries.

• Process medication authorizations and ensure timely communication with pharmacies.

• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, addressing inquiries and directing calls appropriately.

• Travel to designated locations as needed to provide support.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical, dental, or veterinary setting preferred.

• Familiarity with basic medical terminology and patient documentation processes.

• Proficiency in managing a multi-line phone system.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Willingness to travel to other locations as required.

• Capable of maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in a healthcare environment.
