About the Role:

As a Legal/Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting legal staff with form-based administrative tasks. This position offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working in the legal sector and develop professional skills in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare, edit, and process legal forms and other documentation with precision and accuracy.

+ Manage and organize files and records while maintaining strict confidentiality.

+ Provide administrative support, including scheduling, data entry, email correspondence, and file maintenance.

+ Conduct light legal research or assist with the preparation of case-related materials as needed.

+ Communicate effectively with team members and assist with general office tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Attention to Detail: Accuracy is crucial for form-based work and legal documentation.

+ Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other office software is essential. Comfort with learning legal databases or tools is a plus.

+ Organizational Skills: Must be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize deadlines.

+ Light Legal Exposure: Previous experience in a legal office, internship, or familiarity with legal processes is a nice bonus but not required.

+ Must be able to work on-site in Emeryville, CA.
