    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented PART-TIME Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Boca Raton, Florida. Hours are 25 hours weekly Monday through Friday daytime business hours. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in accounts receivable, bank account management, and reconciliation processes. The position offers part-time hours and requires a blend of technical accounting expertise and excellent organizational skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Download and organize data from various platforms to ensure accurate recordkeeping.

    • Prepare and upload financial data into the appropriate accounting systems for processing.

    • Perform accounts receivable aging reconciliation and provide detailed reports to the controller and bank as needed.

    • Retrieve and reconcile bank data from multiple payment gateways to maintain accurate financial records.

    • Conduct bank reconciliations across multiple accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

    • Scan and process invoices while verifying check deposits for proper allocation.

    • Collaborate with the operations team to address fund allocation or order-related inquiries.

    • Generate comprehensive accounts receivable and bank reports to support financial decision-making.

     

    Requirements • Proven experience with accounts receivable and bank reconciliation processes.

     

    • Proficiency in accounting software systems, including SAP, ERP, and Concur.

    • Familiarity with financial tools such as ADP and balance sheet account management.

    • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and auditing principles.

    • Ability to handle multiple tasks with precision and meet deadlines consistently.

    • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal teams effectively.

    • Availability to work in the office at least once per week.

    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in managing financial data.
