    Nestled in the hills of west Paso Robles, Denner Vineyards produces award winning wines from our beautiful estate. We are seeking a Full-Time Rasting Room Rep that works as part of a team to support Tasting Room operations in a manner that achieves the established financial goals, ensures a rich consumer experience, builds consumer loyalty and reflects the brand essence.

     

    Responsibilities include preparing the tasting room for daily operations, promoting and selling wine and non-wine products, and providing information on winemaking and winery history. The role involves handling purchasing transactions, supporting special events, maintaining inventory, and processing phone and shipping orders. The ideal candidate will present wines for tasting, assist customers with purchases, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide general tourist information.

    What You Will Need:

    + High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of tasting room, customer service, retail sales, wine industry, hospitality, team management, public relations, marketing, or teaching and educating others experience.

    + Required to be 21 years of age or older.

    + Required to work weekends and a flexible schedule as needed.

    + Required to engage in frequent walking and standing.

    + Experienced in reading and comprehending simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.

    + Experienced in writing simple correspondence and procedures.

    + Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

    + Lift and move product weighing up to 50 pounds.

    + Required to multi-task with focus on detail and switch gears quickly.

    + Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

    + Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

    What Will Set You Apart:

    + Bachelor’s Degree plus 1 year of tasting room, customer service, retail sales, wine industry, hospitality, team management, public relations, direct to consumer marketing, or wine education experience.

    + Skilled in communication, presentation, sales and customer service.

    + Knowledge of basic computer operation.

    + Knowledge of wine and wine production

    Compensation:

    + Hiring set rate listed as $23.00 / hr - $23.00 / hr
