    Description

    Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a client specializing in commercial sales of heavy machinery across the Latin American market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable (AP), proficiency in QuickBooks Online and SAP, and experience in international commercial sales operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    + Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks Online and SAP systems.

    + Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.

    + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.

    + Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to ensure accurate billing and inventory records.

    + Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

    + Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.

    Requirements

    + Qualifications:

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.

    + Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and SAP.

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    + Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
