Description We are looking for a dedicated Patient Service Representative to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this long-term contract role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth patient experience. This position offers an opportunity to work in the healthcare industry and contribute to high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments, addressing inquiries, and providing information about healthcare services.
• Utilize Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, and other relevant systems to manage patient records and ensure data accuracy.
• Handle inbound calls, respond to patient concerns, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Process authorizations and verify insurance benefits to facilitate smooth billing and payment procedures.
• Support billing functions by preparing and reviewing invoices and payment documentation.
• Generate and analyze reports using tools such as Crystal Reports to support operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate charts and graphs to track patient information and healthcare trends.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and team members to enhance the overall patient experience.
• Use Dentrix Dental Software to manage dental patient records and coordinate care when needed.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and organizational policies. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in a patient service or healthcare-related role.
• Proficiency in using Allscripts and Cerner Technologies for managing patient records.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and tools such as Crystal Reports.
• Experience with Dentrix Dental Software or similar platforms.
• Strong ability to handle inbound calls and provide excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of authorizations, insurance benefits, and billing processes.
• Skill in creating and analyzing charts, graphs, and reports.
