As a Staff Accountant within Robert Half's Full-Time Engagement Professional (FTEP) program, you will work as a salaried, full-time professional in an exciting and dynamic capacity. In this role, you'll handle a variety of accounting engagements with multiple clients, gaining exposure to diverse industries while enjoying the career stability of full-time employment with Robert Half. Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial records, including general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, and account analysis.
+ Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes.
+ Manage and process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
+ Conduct bank and account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
+ Support periodic audits by preparing relevant documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
+ Collaborate with clients’ internal teams to evaluate and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
+ Generate ad hoc financial reports and assist with special accounting-related projects as needed.
+ Stay updated on changes to accounting regulations and assist clients with compliance efforts.

Requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification or progress toward one is a plus).
+ 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, including general ledger, financial statement preparation, AP/AR, or bank reconciliations (Source: RH Acronym Guide.docx - PDQ).
+ Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
+ Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle multiple engagements.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse clients and teams.
+ High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
