Description We are looking for a meticulous and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team in Darlington, Pennsylvania. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering the opportunity to grow within a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing accounts receivable and payable, processing invoices, posting payments, and maintaining accurate financial records using Peachtree/Sage software.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough reconciliation of accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Process and record invoices in the accounting system with precision and timeliness.

• Post payments and maintain up-to-date records for all financial transactions.

• Handle daily deposits, ensuring proper documentation and timely processing.

• Leverage Peachtree/Sage software to manage day-to-day accounting tasks effectively.

• Support the finance team by assisting with additional accounting functions as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to improve and streamline accounting processes. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting practices.

• Proficiency in Peachtree/Sage software is required.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reconciliation.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or coursework in accounting is a plus.

• Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP is advantageous.
