Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is a Contract position with the potential for long-term employment based on performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management, while also contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, preparing financial reports as needed.
• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online for the efficient management of accounting processes.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and implement automation solutions.
• Prepare and analyze cash flow statements and annual budgets to support financial decision-making.
• Assist with payroll processing and HR-related tasks, such as reception duties, when required.
• Provide support for audit preparation and compliance activities.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial data and maintain organized records for reference.
• Work closely with department heads to address accounting needs and provide insights.
• Contribute to improving the overall efficiency of the accounting function through innovative approaches. Requirements • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online is essential.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Familiarity with computerized accounting systems and tools, including Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage cash flow analysis and prepare accurate annual budgets.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Prior experience with payroll and HR tasks is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members.
