Description

Am established company in Culver City is in the need of an Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk will be tasked with handling high volumes of invoices, purchase orders, and vouchers in a fast-paced environment. If you have a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills, we encourage you to apply. The Accounting Clerk must have at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, and vouchers with accuracy and efficiency.

• Perform coding and entry of invoices into the accounting system.

• Reconcile accounts to ensure all transactions are correctly recorded.

• Conduct regular check runs and manage payment schedules.

• Collaborate with vendors to address discrepancies and resolve payment issues.

• Maintain detailed records of financial transactions for auditing purposes.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for accounts payable.

• Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft to complete tasks.

• Assist in monthly and quarterly financial reporting related to accounts payable.

• Support the finance team in ad hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable within a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

• Proficiency in accounting software, including Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with invoice processing, coding, and account reconciliation.

• Ability to perform detailed check runs and manage payment schedules.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong communication abilities for vendor and team collaboration.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
