Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This Contract-to-permanent role offers an opportunity to streamline and enhance our financial operations while playing a pivotal role in driving automation and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in AP processes, advanced Excel skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the complete accounts payable process, including invoice management, purchase order matching, and prepaid expense entries.
• Implement and optimize AP automation tools such as Tipalti and Procurify to improve efficiency.
• Utilize Intacct’s Prepaids Module to schedule and manage amortizations effectively.
• Analyze large and complex datasets in Excel to identify discrepancies and generate actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain advanced Excel reports using pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure seamless vendor onboarding and tracking of purchase order lifecycles.
• Provide support for fixed asset accounting while ensuring audit readiness.
• Act as a key resource for improving process discipline and addressing inefficiencies.
• Contribute to the successful transition and integration of procurement under the same operational umbrella.
• Deliver insights and recommendations to enhance accuracy, visibility, and efficiency in financial workflows. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, procurement, or related financial roles.
• Hands-on experience with AP automation tools such as Tipalti, Coupa, or Procurify.
• Proficient in advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and large dataset analysis.
• Familiarity with Intacct and its Prepaids Module is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, including account coding, accrual accounting, and auditing.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software solutions.
• Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement effective improvements.
• Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability.
