• 2nd shift Warehouse Manager

    Description

    We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Milford , Massachusetts. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient processes across receiving, picking, and distribution, while maintaining high-quality standards and fostering a culture of safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing best practices, training staff, and leveraging technology to drive operational improvements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, logistics, picking, shipping, and customer service, to ensure smooth workflows.

    • Manage and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and feedback to meet performance goals and address operational challenges.

    • Develop and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for all employees.

    • Schedule and coordinate warehouse activities to optimize efficiency while minimizing overtime.

    • Implement and maintain a warehouse management system to enhance operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.

    • Conduct regular meetings with team leads to review productivity and identify areas for improvement.

    • Collaborate with the Inventory Manager to maintain accurate inventory counts through daily cycle counts and address defective or damaged inventory.

    • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained through preventive maintenance programs and oversee general facility upkeep.

    • Work closely with the Quality team to implement and exceed quality standards under the Quality Management Program.

    • Provide 24/7 on-call support for warehouse security and surveillance systems.

    **THIS ROLE is M-TH 12-10** with the understanding that 11am may be needed some times (4 day work week)

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field.

    • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes.

    • Proficiency in implementing Lean manufacturing principles and ISO 9001 standards.

    • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.

    • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and requirements.

    • Experience with warehouse management systems and related technologies.

    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

    • Proven ability to maintain high-quality standards and drive continuous improvement.
